Hey everyone, I’m Sean!
I’m the founder and owner of Run Potential Rehab & Performance. I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a run coach, and an avid trail runner here in Colorado!
As a runner myself, I know how tough it is to face an injury—and how deeply it affects both our physical and emotional well-being. As running isn’t just about the miles; it’s about health, stress relief, competition, exploration, and building community.
I started Run Potential Rehab & Performance because I’m passionate about helping runners and endurance athletes move from rehab back to peak performance. My goal is to meet each athlete where they are, and guide them back to doing what they love—with renewed confidence and a stronger foundation for their running ahead
Dr. Sean Rimmer PT, DPT, OCS
Originally from Buffalo, NY, Sean earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 2016 and went on to achieve his national board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2020.
Outside of the clinic, Sean is a husband, father, dog dad, and passionate runner. He grew up playing a variety of field sports, including competing in collegiate lacrosse, before discovering a love for distance running in 2014.
Since then, he has trained for and completed races ranging from local 5Ks to the legendary Leadville 100. Today, he enjoys mixing it up with sub-ultra mountain trails, ultramarathons, and road half and full marathons.
Sean believes that exploring different distances and terrains not only builds a well-rounded, resilient athlete but also helps prevent burnout while keeping the joy of running alive.
If you see him out on the trails—don’t hesitate to wave!
